Career Diaries : Art Director , A/W campaign

Welcome to my first career diary entry! Over the years I have had the pleasure of working on so many creative and interesting fashion ventures. From Personal Shopping to editorial styling, to company branding and creative consulting. So I thought  I would start blogging my adventures!

A campaign shoot that I worked on recently, was for the fabulous,
I wasn’t styling this particular shoot, but I helped the team put together a clear look and image and sourced location, MUA, photographer, and set designer.

We wanted the brand to look sophisticated, elegant and clean while still being fashion forward. The shoot took place in the fab Home Studios  which is bright and airy , but also features some original plaster molding on the walls. Stylist, Sarah Corr who is also content manager for mykindofdress, chose simple, yet sleek pieces that really showcase their collection and with these items in mind , we built the sets around them.

Props were rented from The Velveteen Rabbit – a gorgeous vintage store / prop hire service that excel in authentic shabby chic. Owner Zoe, helped design each set on the day.

Photographer was Shane O’Connor who captured the high gloss , sleek look that we were aiming to achieve on the day. Model was Sarah Morissey @ Assets. She is always a total pleasure to work with and really knows her craft, ( seriously.. it’s impossible to take a bad picture of her!) MUA was Tee Elliott, one of my favourite make up artists to work with, as her make up is always flawless and photographs amazingly.

The whole shoot was a real team effort and I absolutely loved the images achieved! Enjoy!
